この箱はアルグラフ紙を抜き型で抜き、それを組み立てることだけで成り立っていて、従来の印刷による技法は一切使われていない。表面に見える白い部分は特殊紙の裏側にあたり、くり抜かれた窓や文字から本来の虹色に輝くアルグラフの表面が覗く仕組みになっている。強度を最優先に考え、ステンシル化したフォントを上手く繰り抜けるように抜き型は何度も試行錯誤した。
